Heart wreath

Happy middle of the week day! With Valentines Day a week away I thought I was only fitting to post my all time favorite Valentine project from BHG! Cut a heavy cardstock in the shape of a wreath.  Use paper punches or scissors to cut hearts from colored vellum and lightweight decorative paper. Curl the cutout hearts {Read More…}

As many people know I am a HUGE scarf lover. Luckily I was before my surgery since it is almost a must now to keep the bright south Florida sun from darkening my scar. I came across this amazing tutorial from Scarves Dot Net on how to add a scarf to ballet flats…my two loves in {Read More…}

I’ve had a huge interest on how to make the snowflake wands that I made for my daughter’s Nutcracker birthday party last month, so I thought I should write a tutorial on how to make them.  My daughters think that every girl needs a wand at a party and I couldn’t agree more. The girls {Read More…}

Christmas Craft

Christmas Craft

I found this cute idea via Urban Comfort’s website and simply have to try them this weekend! Finger puppets were made from felt covered coin wrapper rolls and 1 1/4-inch wooden doll heads (found at Michaels) that were glued onto the wrapper. Bits and pieces of felt and pipecleaners bring these guys to life.
