Last weekend I prepared my stationery designs to be shipped off to Hollywood CA for the MTV Movie Awards. As I was putting everything together I started reflecting on what an incredible honor this has been, thanks to my participation with The Artisan Group.
What does 550 pieces of stationery look like?
Let’s just say that my desk was overflowing with product as I working on the “assembly line”. Since there are a number of products to fit into each bag, my packaging had to be minimal. I chose to use organza bags in a gold tone that would set off the inner color of the card showing inside.

I’m not a fan of tied organza bags because I think they look a bit messy so I opted for embellishments to keep the look clean, but most importantly my designs securely inside. Of course Michael’s didn’t have enough of the colors that I liked the best so I had to choose a variety of colors.
The overall look came out quite nice with a touch of sparkle. After packaging, it was off to ship to be included in the “swag bags” with a variety of other talented artisans. So what all was included in the bags? Here are the 5 lucky designs! 
This has been such a memorable experiance from start to finish. Thanks to The Artisan Group for inviting me to join their exclusive group and allowing me to connect with such talented artisans!
I can now focus my energy on drawing up new designs for the GBK 2012 Primetime Emmys Gift Lounge in the Fall.
